St. John The Divine
Social Media Proposal

Social Media & Digital Storytelling Proposal
The Church of St. John the Divine
Prepared by: Sky Collective
Date: February 2026
Our Objective
This proposal is centered on faithfully and consistently communicating the present life and future vision of St. John the Divine.
Our focus is to thoughtfully capture the ongoing rhythm of the parish — Sundays in worship, ministries in action, formation across generations, fellowship, and outreach — and to share that life with clarity and beauty across digital platforms.
In this season, Shine Forth calls for visible momentum and clear vision. Through consistent updates, parishioner stories, renderings, and progress milestones, we will help the community see what is unfolding and prayerfully envision what is being built.
Our aim is to communicate the life of the church as it is happening now — reflecting Christ’s light in this community and helping the parish move forward together with confidence and hope.
Through this partnership, St. John the Divine may expect:
A Strengthened Digital Presence: A consistent and reverent online witness that reflects the beauty of Anglican worship and the vitality of parish life.
Clear Campaign Momentum: Regular updates that gently demonstrate participation, generosity, and visible progress — helping parishioners see and prayerfully envision what is being built.
Deeper Parish Engagement: Increased connection among members and a gracious welcome extended to those exploring faith or seeking a church home.
A Faithful Record of God’s Work: A documented story of how this generation responded to Christ’s call — strengthening the church’s foundation and preparing the way for those who will gather, grow, and go in the years ahead.

Option III — Traditional Advanced Communications Package
$2,000 per month
This package reflects our standard advanced communications offering typically provided to nonprofit organizations. It is structured to support organizations with steady programming cycles and quarterly content needs.
While comprehensive in scope, it is not always the most natural fit for churches, where the life of the parish unfolds weekly — and often daily — through worship, formation, pastoral moments, and ministry events that require more frequent and responsive storytelling.
That said, we are including it here for clarity and comparison.
Social Media Management
- Design and copywriting for 3–5 published posts per week (Facebook & Instagram)
- Posting YouTube videos (as received from the parish or repurposed from livestream services)
- Monthly content calendar management
- Coordinated messaging across platforms
- Shine Forth campaign updates as scheduled
Quarterly Videography & Short Clips
- Quarterly video capture sessions
- Editing of short-form video content
- Interview-style storytelling features
- Video content for social media and website use
- Motion graphics and light animation elements
- Video ad creation (as needed)
Quarterly Photography
- On-site visit every 3–4 months
- 1–2 hour photoshoot
- 50+ professionally edited images
- Organized image library for digital use
Important Consideration
This structure works well for many nonprofit organizations whose programming is event-driven and cyclical.
However, parish life is uniquely dynamic. Worship services, liturgical seasons, pastoral milestones, ministry gatherings, and fellowship opportunities occur with greater frequency and rhythm. Churches often benefit from more regular capture and storytelling that reflects the weekly unfolding of congregational life.
For this reason, our Parish Life & Campaign Stewardship options (Options I and II) are typically better aligned with the pace and sacred rhythm of church communities like St. John the Divine.
Closing
This package may serve well as a mid-interim solution — providing steady communication, strengthened digital exposure, and visible campaign momentum during this important season of Shine Forth.
Through consistent posting, updated visuals, and regular progress storytelling, this approach can help broaden awareness, encourage participation, and maintain forward movement as the parish continues discerning and developing a long-term internal communications structure.
In this way, the work remains supported, the vision remains visible, and the momentum of Shine Forth continues to build — all while St. John the Divine prayerfully establishes a sustainable, in-house solution for the future.
