Project Overview

Gateway Stories has built something truly unique.

For years, Joey & Erin Lichnovsky have faithfully created spaces where individuals experiencing homelessness, disability, poverty, isolation, and hardship are welcomed as honored guests around the table. Through worship, meals, preaching, community, and baptism celebrations, Gateway has demonstrated what it means to live out the Gospel in tangible ways.

After serving more than 1,600 individuals and mobilizing over 300 volunteers, the next opportunity is not simply hosting another successful banquet—it is equipping others to do the same in their own communities.

This project is designed to elevate the Gateway Stories Banquet experience, capture its impact through powerful storytelling, and create the foundational resources necessary to help churches, ministries, and communities replicate the model nationwide.

Storytelling & Video Production

Banquet Storytelling Video

Investment Value: $1,350

Create a compelling 3–4 minute feature video that captures the heart, vision, and impact of the Gateway Stories Banquet.

Deliverables include:

• Event footage and interviews
• Story-driven editing and production
• Testimonies from guests, volunteers, and leadership
• Visual presentation of the banquet experience
• Mission and vision storytelling
• Multiple short-form social media clips for ongoing promotion

Purpose: Create a flagship storytelling piece that inspires donors, volunteers, churches, and potential partner communities to engage with Gateway Stories and replicate the model elsewhere.

Website Strategy & Messaging Enhancement

Investment Value: $250

Conduct a strategic review of the current Gateway Stories website and improve clarity around key ministry offerings.

Recommended updates include:

• Clarifying Gateway Stories' mission and positioning
• Better explaining the "Gateway" and "Conduit" concepts
• Enhancing navigation and user experience
• Creating clearer pathways for volunteers and supporters
• Homepage call-to-action improvements
• Adding "Look for Ways to Serve" and RSVP opportunities
• Improved presentation of ministry programs

Special focus will be placed on helping visitors quickly understand how Gateway Stories serves the community and how they can become involved.

Expansion Resources & Ministry Development

Investment Value: $400

Develop foundational resources that allow Gateway Stories to expand its influence beyond Houston.

Acts 2:44 Closet Clarification

Create clear messaging and website content explaining:

• How the Acts 2:44 Closet operates
• Who it serves
• Donation procedures
• Volunteer opportunities
• Community impact
